In the fall of 2008 while under the spell of the infectious mariachi sounds that relentlessly oopahs as the soundtrack for Southern California, the Bronx created "Mariachi El Bronx" as a vehicle for a border bending journey of the senses.


On a typically balmy Queensland spring evening music lovers headed to their city’s’ West End to Brisbane's new live music focal point in anticipation of seeing the hottest live act currently on the international circuit.

They were not disappointed.
